Dark circles are not one problem. They can come from pigmentation (brown discolouration), hollowness under the eyes that casts a shadow, thin skin that shows the blood vessels beneath, or a mix of these. Lack of sleep, allergies, rubbing the eyes, genetics, ageing and sun exposure can all make them worse. Creams alone often fail because they don't match the cause.
